Manager Social Media HR Community
This role is responsible for setting Human Resources’ global social media strategy to drive traffic and online community involvement. This position will work with cross-functional HR teams to conceptualize, develop, and deploy programs and content that increases online community awareness and participation in order to drive Life Technologies Corp. brand awareness, expand the candidate pool through these new channels, and improve talent acquisition and/or recruiting effectiveness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams to create, develop and deploy programs and content that drives Life Technologies Corp. brand awareness, expands the candidate pool through new social media channels, and improves talent acquisition and/or recruiting effectiveness.
· Serve as primary point of contact for promoting and driving social media programs. Maintain external enthusiasm for Life Technologies Corp., and its two brand platforms. This includes representing the HR team on the company’s Social Media Council.
· Develop programs for defining the HR social media community purpose, strategy, and creative direction. This includes the creation and execution of social media marketing channels (Twitter, Facebook, myspace, etc.) and community event campaigns to drive traffic and community involvement to help drive talent acquisition strategies.
· Own and deploy the numerous existing HR programs, including the Talent Referral Program, into these new social media channels with the goal of expanding the talent pool and improving recruiting effectiveness. This includes leading the effort to recruit, train and oversee existing employee involvement for the purpose of integrating social media efforts into existing programs.
· Develop, maintain and manage content, including FAQs and “help” tutorials for HR social media channels.
· Work with corporate communications to ensure that HR involvement in the social media community abides by company standards, rules and guidelines, and further builds the Life Technologies Corp brand. This includes developing strategies for monitoring and enforcing said standards within the social media channels to minimize conflict that may impact the company. (i.e. monitor for inappropriate videos, posts, profanity, etc…)
· Relay pertinent information (industry trends, hot topics, etc…) from the community to internal recruiting team to optimize and leverage talent acquisition.
· Measure and communicate the impact of web community/social media strategies and tactics using agreed upon tracking metrics.
· Ownership of Life Technologies Talent Referral Program, including global marketing, growth and metrics of the program.
