Description: The Team

  • The Advocacy team is the front line of communication for the thousands of Ning Network Creators and their members across the Ning Platform.
  • Communication and Support is managed in the Ning Help Center, through Ning articles and resources, and on Get Satisfaction and Twitter.
  • Advocacy team members serve as highly visible representatives of Ning both inside and outside the company.
  • Our team is agile and engaged, with a passion for helping Network Creators make the most of their Ning Networks.

The Opportunity

  • You will serve as the initial point of contact for inbound help requests from Network Creators and members through the Ning Help Center, and subsequently provide the best experience while troubleshooting issues and answering questions.
  • Take experience to identify and analyze issues, patterns and trends in the incoming requests.  You’ll then funnel this feedback into product tracking as well as new feature design.
  • Proactively escalate issues, opportunities and insights to the executive and product teams.
  • Acquire more responsibility within the Advocacy team, managing releases, writing for the Help Center, creating and internal projects.

Qualifications

  • You naturally help others and find problem solving to be rewarding.
  • You like working hard and thrive in a start up environment.
  • Writing comes easily to you, you take pride in what you write and write well.
  • You are curious and spend time online finding new things, teaching yourself and others.
  • BA/MS
  • You live in the San Francisco Bay Area and are willing to commute to Palo Alto.
